About Sandpiper Nurse Advisors

I started Sandpiper after working for an leading major healthcare system as a nurse educator covering over 70+ clinics in the region. While educating new nurses and consulting to clinic leaders I realized that our providers provide excellent care in the clinic, we have nurses who help educate patients in the moment - but that nursing guidance stops at the exit from the appointment.

And that frustrated me immensley. 

​

A physician can provide an excellent diagnosis, treatment plan and recommendations. But once the visit ends, the patient is often left to figure out how to put all of it into practice while living their busy, full lives.

​

I have worked extensively with adults as they move through their 60s and beyond, and I have seen how much health, mobility and independence can be influenced by what happens between medical visits.

​

I have also worked as a nurse leader, educator and healthcare business executive, so I understand the demands placed on accomplished people—the travel, competing priorities and responsibilities that can make even the best health plan difficult to implement.

​Sandpiper was created to bridge that gap. Beyond the doctor visit.

​

I work alongside my clients and their physicians, helping turn medical recommendations into clear priorities, practical action and consistent follow-through.

​

At this stage of my own life, that mission is personal as well.

​

I believe meaningful longevity is not simply about adding more years. It is about protecting the health and independence that allow us to fully live them.
